Many power dynamic relationships—especially “Owner/property” relationships—play with a certain amount of objectification of the s-type. “You’re my most precious thing,” has been said many times. But how does this work from a spiritually animist perspective, where any natural “inanimate” object (and many created ones) are considered to have souls, and possibly personalities and preferences? If things are people too, how does that work when people have made themselves into things? What does “slave training” look like when you believe that there’s no such thing as a blank slate, anywhere in your life? Raven Kaldera is a Northern Tradition shaman, and in this class we’ll be talking about what it’s like to own someone when everything in your world is alive.
