Suffering for some is a need, a want, a deep desire. There can be something so sexy, so profound about suffering for both top or bottom, or either side of the slash. Many of us also feel called to a spiritual path. How does our spiritual path and our call to suffer or make another suffer intertwine? What ways as giver or receiver has growth or healing in spiritual suffering been found? How does who we spiritually suffer for impact the experience?
