Using Zoom:
- The conference links will be password protected.
- This event will not be recorded or saved in the Zoom cloud.
- Camera is optional. You are not required to have the video on to participate.
- Using the “speaker view” allows you to focus on the presenter/speaker.
- If you wish to preserve your identity, you can turn off your video feed or cover your camera with tape. This still allows you to listen in and participate.
- You can identify yourself by your scene name during the classes.
- If you have privacy concerns, and use Zoom for your personal, private, or work life, open Zoom prior to logging into the conference, and ensure your legal name or personal identifiers are removed.
- During the conference your screen name will be locked.
- If you are experiencing mic feedback or other audio technical issues, please consider using the chat feature during the workshop.
- Presenters will establish their own ground rules for handling questions during the workshop; please be aware and respect the presenters’ time, effort, and requests. Room monitors will be on hand to support presenters.
- Apple Users: Based on personal experience Zoom works best by downloading and using the Zoom App rather than the browser option.
- Conference policies have been established and will be enforced. Please familiarize yourself with the Holy Fire Conference Policies.
